In my understanding, 「よ」 is simply mood word.
So, for example "食べたい" and "食べたいよ" are basically the same meaning, "I wanna eat".
But 「ね」 sometimes includes asking for opinions or getting others consent.
...を食べたい I wanna eat ...
...を食べたいね I wanna eat ... (+ How about you? / do you wanna too?).
So, when you wanna get others consent, you can put 「ね」 in the end of the sentence.
それができるのは今しかないよね This is the only time when I can do it (+ How do you think? / do you think so?).
この部屋暗いよね? Is this room dark? (+How do you think? / do you think so?).
I hope it can help you learn Japanese :)
