Ghost
Translation of sentence
Hi
Can anybody correct/complete/rephrase this German sentence?
Weil aber für jede herausgelesene Figur jemand aus der realen Welt in die Bücherwelt verschwinden muss, ...
But because for every extracted character, someone from the real world in the Bookland must disappear.
Danke im Voraus!

That's nearly correct, but look at the case after "in": It's accusative ("in die Bücherwelt"), so it denotes a direction, which means you translate it using "into":
..., someone from the real world must disappear into the World of Books/Bookworld.
Also, "herausgelesen" in the context of a "Bücherwelt" probably means "extracted by reading" or something like that. It's actually a play on words, because "lesen" also has the older meaning "to select, to extract" besides "to read".
