I read a book (books), magazines, website (and websites), for example news in level (news at my level of English knowledge)..., watch videos in (on) youtube (YouTube) or some movie (movies). Do you have any suggestion (suggestions)? You use a good variety of material, Jarka! It sounds like you choose something to study each day. Watching videos and movies with subtitles can be an enjoyable way to learn a little vocabulary and keep you motivated. Do you do any writing on sites like Lang-8 com, and do you have any simple conversations with native speakers of English? I also agree with a previous comment about singing to songs you like (and asking native speakers if you have questions about the vocabulary) because you can practice pronunciation and intonation. I would be glad to help you as you practice English.

Hello Jarka, All of the other suggestions are good but can I suggest for listening that you try lyricstraining.com you can either choose multiple choice or writing - I made a video about this resource a while ago. https://youtu.be/uugnCiamr7Q You should also look for new words and phrases and learn them, you can practise learning them using a site like quizlet.com. https://youtu.be/dHUOvqhvPY4 Once you are getting them right all the time then you should try to use them in your writing and speaking. Best wishes Bob

Hi Jarka! Yes, that makes sense to search for the lyrics for the songs you really like. When you read the lyrics, that's extra practice. If you do know the lyrics by heart, that's a great accomplishment! In terms of songs in which the vocalists sing clearly, you could try some classic artists like Dean Martin, Ella Fitzgerald, etc. Here is one station that plays these types of songs: The Penthouse Radio - http://www.thepenthouse.fm/ And Bob's suggestion of LyricsTraining is great - I hadn't heard of it. Enjoy more writing, speaking, listening and reading in English!

Thank you for your suggestions I will try it, usually I listen to music when I drive my car and I am very happy if I understand some words and I try to repeat it :-) If the song I like more I immediately use shazam and find that song in lyrics and try to translate. Next time if that song I heard in radio I understand much more than first time. It is fun.
