A pink ring of death?
There are beard trimmings all over the bathroom, a pink ring of death in his shower.
What does the phrase- a pink ring of death- mean?
Is it a personal expression or an idiom?
Thanks.

It's not 100% clear without context, but mold can have a pink color. "Rings" are typically associated with bathtubs, not showers, though. But a dirty, slow-draining shower could get a pink ring, I imagine. "death" seems like a bit of an exaggeration if the author is, indeed, talking about mold.

I am the head cleaner of my family. I can tell you for sure that they are talking about mold.

It means the shower drain is dirty. No idea why it would be pink. Perhaps the death refers only to it not being healthy.
