Hi, My name is Jack Lindsay and I am from the United States. I am a citizen of the world. I speak 4 languages, English (Native), Spanish, Portuguese, and Chinese (mandarin). I lived in Wuhan, China for just over 2 years teaching English. I then moved to Brasil where I currently live and teach English as a full time profession. I have a TEFL degree with a sub degree in teaching business English. I specialize in accent correction and creative writing. My passion is teaching, and the greatest high life can give us is seeing someone apply the knowledge you guided them toward.

Jack picked up everything very quick, I believe he would be able to read and write a lot more Chinese soon. Thank you for being so cooperative and supportive.

I usually teach that *at* as a preposition of location is our go-to preposition. while at and in are both correct, we dont really need to know if you are inside the apartment or outside. If we were both at your office, in the office might be more appropriate so I don't spend time walking around outside looking for you.

if a goal is worth enough to you, it doesn't matter what it takes to get there, it will all be worth it in the end. we have a saying that makes that easier to say: "the end justifies the means"

mind deadening means something that is killing your mind. rather than saying "mind killing", the author chose to be more colorful in using the root "dead" to add a bit of dramatic effect. Basically just means numbing or doing away with the feeling or process of the brain. hope this helps

What I recommend for my students is to watch a TV series with the subtitles in English. Start with a simple one like Friends or something talking about everyday life and start translating the words you don't know as you go. it won't be very enjoyable at first, but as time goes on you will find that you just start understanding, whether it be through context or previous translations! I have found TV to be the fastest way to learn another language, unless you are a singer or musician, in which learning lyrics would be much much quicker. Best of luck and I hope this helps, Jack Lindsay

I am currently getting a bachelor’s degree in Philosophy at Novosibirsk State University in Russia and will be graduating in June. should I wait until next year before I apply, or can I apply in June as well? Thank you for your time. Sincerely, Mark Shumarov *If you are interested in creative and professional writing send me a message and we can talk! best of luck and good start)!*

I always recommend "the big bang theory" with subtitles. write down the scientific and hard words and look them up as you go, after your 3rd or so episode it will get much easier!
