Personally, I would call them the "shores of the lake". Another possibility is "edge of the lake/water".

The fishermen had left them and were washing their nets. Jesus got into the boat belonging to Simon and asked him to put out a little from shore. The thing that happened today

I was happy to see him, but words didn't come out when I needed them. I couldn't speak English well enough. Every time I try to speak English, my head goes totally blank. It's so frustrating! How can I overcome this? I need to practice speaking a lot. I'm going to take use this frustration to motivate myself. I'll definitely improve my English!!

GREAT WORK! A good method for practicing conversational English is to write some phrases and memorise them. Then use them in a real conversation and they will sound familiar and natural.

I am from Russia. I am 32 and have a family. I've been working as an electrical engineer for over 8 years. I am interested in electronic music. When I was young, I used to play as a DJ and organized small parties with my friends. It was a great time...
