It's Finally Friday

Hey, it´s finally Friday, the better best day of the week! Everyone has is excited, because another weekend is arriving has arrived. Well, I'm on vacation and I'm enjoying it a lot. I intend in this free days to learn more English and to study some Phynton Programming Language. I intend to learn more English and study the Python Programming Language during these free days.

It's very hard to study English in my country, because there are not sufficient enough people to practice English with like as a second language. (consider taking out "as a second language")

I saw the last latest news about the Brazilian Government; there is a new indictment about President Temer and some of his him ministers were have been indicted (for what?) - it seems like a soap opera! (I would probably say "the whole thing seems like a soap opera")

It means that the person enjoys having a glass of wine every now and then, meaning that it's a rare occurrence. With regards to your second sentence: "I occasionally enjoy some glasses of wine" - you would not say "some glasses" - the correct way to rephrase this would be "I occasionally enjoy a glass of wine" which is the same as "I enjoy the occasional glass of wine". Merhaba! Benim adım Can, ve şu an Türkçe öğrenmekteyim. Türkiye'ye üç ay önce geldim, ve şu an Türkçe öğrencisiyim. Biraz zor, ama Türkçe çok güzel bir dil. Ayrıca İspanyolca konuşuyorum ve dilleri öğrenmeyi çok seviyorum. İspanyolca ve Türkçe çok farklılar. Evcil hayvanım yok, ama eşim çok bir Fransız bulldog istiyor. Onun annesinin ve babasının yaramaz bir Fransız bulldog'ları var. Ben Fransız bulldog istemiyorum çünkü köpeklerden hoşlanmıyorum. Bence kediler daha iyi hayvanlar. İstanbul'da çok kediler var, ve çoğu kediler tatlı olsa da ama bazı kediler biraz pis oluyor.

PS. Well done Can, if you managed to write that paragraph without any help and have only been learning Turkish for the past 3 months, then I'd say you've done a great job! I would however recommend some help with sentence structure, and especially with suffixes. All the best with your language journey and keep up the good work!

My application took about 1 week to process (weekends excluded). I had something missing from my video so I received an email saying it was declined, that I needed to add the missing info and resubmit. Once I did, it took a few days for the approval. The application remained open during that process though, so the fact that yours has simply vanished, perhaps there was some sort of technical glitch. My recommendation would be to reapply, you have nothing to lose. As Phil says, you can also contact support - they are fantastic; the response time is second to none and they are very helpful - I've never been so impressed with a support service before!
