My name is Yasser Ahmed, I am Egyptian.
I know English well and I speak a bit of French.
I'm a professional Arabic teacher. I lecture at al Minia university in al Minia, Egypt on several subjects including Arabic. I teach Standard Arabic (Fusha) and Egyptian dialect as well.
I work now as a professor in Minya University, Egypt.Me as a Teacher
I have been teaching Arabic (Modern standard Arabic) and (Egyptian dialect) as a second language since 2009, and so I have a good experience in this field.
I have taught many students from beginners to advanced (children to adults),so I know exactly the needs of my students, the difficulties that might confront them, and how to help them to overcome these difficulties. My lessons & teaching style
My teaching method: During our first session I will evaluate your Arabic level ask you why you are studying Arabic. Then I will give you the learning materials that suit your level and meet your needs. In our lessons we will focus on the four skills: reading, speaking, listening, and writing. If you know Arabic reasonably well and want to study a particular aspect of the language such as literature, grammar, or the media, I would be more than happy to help you with that. Before every session, I will prepare the lesson to meet your needs and I will give you the full chance to participate and practice what you learn. My teaching material

Dr Yasser is an excellent teacher. He is extremely patient, and all his lessons are well-paced, enjoyable and engaging. The materials he uses are effective, and he is able to explain complicated points (e.g regarding grammar) in an extremely simple and understandable way.
If you would like to learn Arabic, then I would very highly recommend Dr Yasser.

Dr Yasser is the best Arabic teacher I have ever had. For a teacher of Arabic, there are a few requirements.
1) The teacher should be native Arab.
2) The teacher loves the language.
3) The teachers knows how to teach the language.
4) The teacher knows how to teach to non-natives.
5) The teacher knows how to teach to students who are fully beginners.
6) The teacher is able to explain and give meanings of Arabic words in English without using a dictionary.
I have had almost 300 lessons with Dr Yasser so far and I can say he has all these qualities combined. I have had teachers who lacked one or some of the above and that made it very difficult to learn Arabic, such that I lost interest. However, with Dr Yasser, I am picking up Arabic very quickly and moved onto Advanced level with ease. I can't recommend him enough.

Yes! I am reading Arabic and only after 4 lessons. For you all reading this, I have been exposed to the Arabic language and taking other courses in the past years but never been able to read. After 4 lessons with Dr. Yasser I am reading! It is because of his method, he’s extremely clear, very patient (very!!!) and the training material he’s using in his lesson is also easy to understand. The rest will be on you to practice and practice (and practice).
