I have taken Lucia's classes for over a year and she is always very professional. She encourages me to speak during the conversation part of the class by asking me open ended questions. She has taken the time to learn what vocabulary is relevant to my life and job. She is patient and supportive when I am struggling to think of the words. Lucia is very knowledgeable about grammar. She explains things clearly in English or in Spanish depending on how comfortable I am with the grammar terms. She put in a lot of thought and effort to make my learning journey successful. I will continue to take classes from her

Lucía is an amazing teacher! I came to her Spanish lessons as an absolute beginner and I really appreciate her structured approach to grammar. All of the nuances of the language are explained in lots of detail and Lucía always provides extra support with follow-up tasks/homework for me to practice. I have studied many languages in the past but studying with Lucía has been a truly exceptional experience and I am super happy with the speed of my progress in Spanish.

I highly recommend Lucy as an Italki teacher because I just completed her subjunctive course and it was fantastic. I learned much more than I expected because it was far beyond the basics. I could not have chosen a better teacher for this difficult and tricky subject. Lucy has so much patience and doesn't quit until she is sure you understand everything. She is always fully engaged, eager to teach and someone who derives a lot of satisfaction in seeing her students achieve their goals. We both put a lot of work into finishing her course, but it was really worth it. I'm so grateful that Lucy stuck with me until the very end and I look forward to advancing my Spanish further with her by practicing and reviewing what she has taught me. Lucia was very knowledgeable and focused on what I needed to do to accomplish my goals. She was very honest and upfront about what I needed to do and willing to work hard with me without adding pressure. Looking forward to my next lesson.
