What's up, guys? This is Linus, the Taiwanese who teaches Chinese online. It's really good to see you here. I have been teaching Chinese online since 2020. Besides teaching Chinese online, I also produce Chinese learning content on Instagram, Youtube, and TikTok (*Just search "Linus the Taiwanese"). In the very beginning, I only taught English at HESS and other cram schools. In junior year of university, a Swedish friend of mine aroused my interest in teaching Chinese so I joined a Chinese Teacher Training Program, got the certificate and started to teach Chinese as well.My lessons & teaching style
Before everything starts, we will need to talk about what your level is, what level you'd like to achieve and your specific needs. Then I can come up with learning materials and schedule based on them. During class, it won't be just me talking. We will have a lot of interaction and discussion, which can make learning more fun and help you improve quicker. I am currently taking the B1/B2 class, and Linus was very prepared and tailored each class to suit my language skill and level. He has a wide range of material that he uses and the lessons never get boring. We are currently working on reading comprehension and conversation, and I am already seeing an improvement after a few classes. The materials he has given me thus far build upon each other, so there is a natural progression. This is great if you like a structured course. I also purchased the conversational Chinese course package from Linus. The conversational courses are fun and more informal, and are a great supplement to my B1/B2 lessons.
