Cadence

Cadence prepared the lesson based on some materials I wanted to use. She was organized, thoughtful, and able to adjust when I had questions or difficulties. We were able to practice both speaking and reading. She is also very good at calibrating the speed/difficulty of her spoken Chinese according to your level. Great teacher, highly recommend!

It is such a pleasure talking with Cadence. She is so knowledgeable, interesting, perceptive, curious, and supportive. An excellent conversationalist and reminds me that I’m learning Chinese to have conversations with people like her!

Highly recommended. Chatting with Cadence was very relaxed, it was like chatting with an old friend and having a good catch up. I especially like talking about abstract things with Cadence, things like theories, principles and future goals.

Italki's best Chinese language teacher!

It was the first lesson I've booked on Italki so Cadence was my first teacher on this platform. It was strange... we both had the feeling that we had met each other before. Cadence listened to what I had to say, she was very attentive and helped me to use better word choices when necessary. Even though I was quite hesitant at first, I was able to get my point across so that Cadence understood me. Cadence has a very neutral Chinese accent and I could also practise my listening and understand her. It was a great class and I wish the best for Cadence and me. The rapport was great and I give the highest recommendations to her as a Chinese teacher. I won't be booking another lesson with her though. Hope our paths can meet again in the future though! 加油！
