Hi there, my name is Mayumi. I am a native Japanese speaker from Yamaguchi, Japan. I love meeting new people and learning their culture/languages. I'm also interested in Tahitian dance which is traditional dance in Tahiti. I used to live in Canada and traveled around the world. When I was in Canada, I had experience supporting to teach Japanese at local Japanese language school.

I believe that the fastest way to learn languages is using everyday what you learned. If you want to learn with some fun, here I am!! I am an easy-going and a good listener. I've been learning English since I was a kid so I understand how difficult learning other languages can be. I'm happy to help you with each step of the learning process. Mayumi was a very good conversationalist. I appreciated that she gave me time to think when I was struggling to put a sentence together and then she would rephrase what I wanted to say to make it sound more natural. I would recommend her to anyone who wants to practice their Japanese in a low stress and encouraging environment.
