My names are Mukumbi Michael Minganja, I am Zambian.I am always looking for opportunities for growth. I am a personal development enthusiast and really love engaging myself with anything dealing with building people.
I am passionate about teaching English especially to speakers of other languages especially because of the opportunity to interact with a broader and diverse audience.
My other interests include Public speaking and public interactions. In my free time, I take culinary classes learning the different foods in different cultures. This allows me to interact with various cultures. I also love reading about world history and business.Me as a Teacher
I am a passionate English Language teacher with over four years of experience teaching of which three years were spent teaching online. I have spent most of the years after my first degree developing Personal development platforms. Teaching the English Language was one of the fields I Chose in my drive for Personal Development, Business Language and leadership were other fields I chose. In the last four years, I have interacted with and taught over 350 students in the English Language.My lessons & teaching style
My class sessions mainly start with open conversations that allow me to learn about my student and also make an assessment of how best can help them make improvements. i like to ask the student what goals or targets they may have and also get to have a picture of what weaknesses or strengths they believe they have in English.
My approach may take a contextual or topical approach to get the student to understand the use of nouns and verbs. These go on to take a role play-based approach to help the student apply the right use of tenses, adjectives, and pronouns. I also like to take on new word challenges to teach my students new words. I also like to give pronunciation exercisesMy teaching material
