Hi, my name is Stan, I was born in Paris, France, and have always lived in my native country. But I enjoy travelling around the world. Languages are not only practical means to communicate with each other. They are also powerful ways to understand this world and try to make it a better place. As a french community tutor, my goal is to help you improve yourself in this beautiful language (which is often said to be tough), and in the most comfortable way for you, according to your own needs and availability. Certified French and Brazilian Portuguese teacher with 15 years of experience I have a Languages degree (Portuguese and French) from the UFPE and I did a postgraduate course in Applied Linguistics to Portuguese Language Teaching in the FAFIRE. I also had the opportunity to study Didactics for Languages for six months in the Université Sorbonne Nouvelle, in Paris. Since 2011, I work as a teacher of Portuguese (as first and foreign language) and French and I’ve had experiences in schools, language courses, online lessons… So I have a large experience teaching both of them and I had the opportunity to teach students with different levels, profiles and goals. My lessons are dynamic, fun and prepared according to the student's objective and interests.

This rich, multicultural upbringing sparked my lifelong passion for languages and communication. Since then, I’ve explored Western Europe, immersing myself in English, Spanish, French, Italian, German, Danish, Portuguese (PT&PB) ... and so on... cultures, and collecting not just languages, but real-life stories and connections.
