You acquire a language when you start using it, even imperfectly. My role is to create the conditions for that to happen as soon as possible. I'm demanding enough to help you make progress, but never in a way that puts you under pressure. I correct with judgement, focusing on what genuinely gets in the way of communication and leaving room for spontaneous expression. I've worked with students at very different levels and I adapt my pace and register to whoever is in front of me. Most students go from A1 to B2 within a year to a year and a half with one hour of practice per week.

Your personal Italian Duo-linguo I`ve been teaching students from all walks of life who have all successfully achieved confident fluency; some are now living in Italy! I currently specialize in conversation practice for English-speaking adults who speak Italian at least at an intermediate level (B1). I have a wide range of tutoring experience: Teaching Assistant in schools for SEN students and pupils who needed extra support with tasks; facilitator in medical courses; assistant in drama classes; and private tutoring both in person and online. As an actor I like to bring an element of improvisation and fun to help your fluency. I'm a good listener, so don't hesitate to share if there's anything you'd like to learn.
