Happy New Year ! 🎠 2025 was a particularly memorable year in my life, one where I grew tremendously. Looking back, I'm proud of how much I challenged myself and how many dreams I achieved. The biggest highlight was finally realizing my long-held goal of studying abroad in Korea. Living in a new environment pushed me to grow more than I ever imagined, and every day brought fresh excitement and motivation. Another major achievement was passing the Korean Language Proficiency Test. Although I felt anxious at times during the process, seeing the results reaffirmed the importance of steady, consistent effort. I also challenged myself with the TOEIC, taking the exam with a mix of nervousness and excitement. Through these challenges, I connected with many new people, encountered diverse values, and experienced a year where my world significantly expanded. Looking ahead to 2026, I want to cherish and maintain this momentum. My primary goal is to improve both my Korean and English while "enjoying the process even more." I want to build my skills naturally through daily conversation and practice, not just for exams. I also plan to fully commit to job hunting, moving forward confidently in the efforts I've built up so far. May 2026 be a year filled with growth, excitement, and new challenges. And I hope to get closer, bit by bit, to becoming a better version of myself. I want to live each day remembering to be grateful for the people I meet and the experiences I have.

My university classes started this week. It’s hard for me to wake up early now because I always slept until noon during the summer vacation. But I am really happy to see my friends every day. We always talk a lot and eat lunch together, so going to school is super fun. This semester, I have many English classes. Sometimes the classes are difficult, but I want to do my best to improve my English skills. I also started to think seriously about studying abroad. I really want to go to another country and learn many new things. So, I decided to study for the TOEIC test. Every day, I try to read English books and watch English videos. It is not easy, but I will work hard and enjoy my school life at the same time. I hope I can achieve my goals this semester.

I went to Busan from September 18th to 21st. I went to there with my friend and my Korean teacher. We went to many historical and political places. For example, Japanese Consulate, and Gyeongju. By the way, about the foods. I’ve always wanted to eat Kyochon Chicken’s “Honeycomb chicken”. Finally, I was able to eat it! I love the taste and texture. I ate Samgyeopsal, Chapagetti, and Tangsuyuk too. Every Korean foods were so great. But I felt I’m Japanese by nature. I love sushi, miso soups, tempura, and so on. I’m interested in many foreign countries, but I will come back Japan in the end.

Six months ago, the yakiniku restaurant where I worked part-time closed down. But yesterday, it reopened with a new style. I started working there when I was a first-year high school student, so I feel very happy. I went to work yesterday, but many menu items changed during the six months, so I was confused. Today, I will go to work again. I want to do better than yesterday and use what | learned. I hope customers enjoy delicious yakiniku. I will try my best to give good service and help them have a nice time. Working at this restaurant is important to me, and I want to grow more. I feel a little nervous, but also excited. I will smile and work hard today.

English Grammar

Increasing productivity does not always mean rigid processes. Even though it is important to track the work, sometimes give employees a bit of slack can be beneficial to the productivity. Hence, hiring an Office manager of a Happiness manager in charge of the well-being of employees can be a good idea. This person can organize team-building events to improve corporate culture. Thus, the employees are more easily to communicate each other. When the relationship between coworkers is smooth, people are more motivated to work. Lastly, project management is key. Touch base daily, weekly and monthly on specific tasks. You can begin by assigning small actionable steps in order to give employees a sense of achievement. Then, they will feel more engaged to the whole project.

Sometimes I feel like I make very slow progress in learning English. Then I find out so many people are just like me and they keep trying and learn harder with some better methods. So I do the same and have more hope but after that I feel frustrated and know that because I am not hard working enough and the circle repeats again. I know I never give up but today I am feeling low again.
