Your Spanish learning experience

He estado aprendiendo español por tres meses... (I've been learning Spanish for 3 months...) (this implies that you're still actively learning now)

...por mi cuenta. (...on my own)

...con profesores de italki. (...with italki teachers)


Estudié español por dos años... (I learned Spanish for 2 years...) (This implies you're no longer actively learning)

Saying goodbye

Fue un gusto hablar contigo hoy. (It was a pleasure talking to you today)

Igualmente (I feel the same way.) (Use this as a reply for "fue un gusto...")

Nos vemos la próxima clase. (See you in the next lesson.)

Hasta la próxima. (See you next time)

Voy a reservar otra clase contigo. (I'm going to book another lesson with you.)

¿Te parece bien la próxima semana a la misma hora? (Is next week at the same time OK with you?)

Estrictamente hablando, Oír = hear y Escuchar = listen.
Pero en realidad, muchas veces los usamos de forma intercambiable.
