It’s sunny today. Mom went out to run errands until very late. So, Dad and I decided to cook, not only for filling up our bellies but also for fun. Based on the ingredients we had found in the kitchen, we made a quintessential American dish—the Hoover Stew. It’s simple enough for us to handle. While Dad was doing the knife work, I boiled the macaroni until al dente. Then, we tossed per-cooked macaroni, canned tomatoes, canned corn kernels, diced onion, and sliced sausage in the pot and boiled them for about 15 minutes. I wouldn’t say the outcome was easy on eyes. Initially, it tasted a bit bland, but the more I ate, the more I found the flavor to be mild and delicate. And the best part was that it was really easy to cook, and all the ingredients were easy to come by. My Dad even turned his pockets inside out to perform the Hoover Flags to match the vibe.

I have some basic cooking skills such as steaming because I need to take care of myself. but I eat in the canteen of our school, So I don't have a lot of opportunities to cook. I came across an article online about "the food which you shouldn't eat if possible" and would like to share it here. The pharmacist in Japan states in the article that aging has something to do with some of foods we often eat. The careful points regarding those kind of foods are follows 1) Avoiding fast foods as much as possible 2) Cutting back on snacks and cookies. Never be used as a substitute for meals. 3) Try to have drink without sugar such as tea, not soda or juices 4)Don't use processed foods such as hams and bacons as little as possible Caring too much on dietary requirements is not necessarily bad thing, but the pharmacist suggests that our goal is to have meals three times a day and to try 30 kinds of foods in total if possible. We should make a point of trying well-balanced diet. I think we couldn't rewind the past, but it is possible to delay aging and bounce back. So, I also have to alter my diet and lifestyle even more. Maybe tomorrow?

Today is sunday，I want to do something I want as a rest，but I don t know how. I want to go shopping，but I don' t know what I want to buy，I just want to go around the market and look at these beautiful clothes. I want to have dinner in a restaurant.This restaurant is very far away，about 12.8 kilometers from my home .It is too expensive to take a taxi there，I will spend fifty yuans. I have worked hard for five days，it is very natural to take a rest，but I just don 't know how.

It was sunny today. In the morning, Mom noticed that I was making a wheezing sound when I spoke. Actually I had been having difficulty breathing recently, but I thought it was a side effect of the flu and didn’t think much of it. Mom, however, took it seriously and quickly drove me to the doctor. Well, she was right to be concerned; it was indeed quite severe. Technically, it’s called mycoplasma pneumonia, or walking pneumonia. The symptoms might seem mild, but after all, it’s still pneumonia. If my lungs were infected, it could be fatal. Luckily, my situation isn’t that bad yet—a thousand thanks to Mom. The doctor prescribed me antibiotic treatment and put me under an oxygen mask for a few hours. I didn’t even frown during the IV infusion. It looks like I’m going to miss a lot of classes next week. That’s fine!
