Is there anyone here who teaches Pennsylvania Dutch? It is a German/English dialect in the United States.

Today, I didn’t have any university classes, so I had a lot of free time. I was very happy because I usually have to wake up early and go to university. Since I had no classes today, I decided to go out with my friends. We went to the city, walked around, and talked about many things. We also ate some delicious food together. It was really fun, and I was able to relax and forget about studying for a while. After spending time with my friends, I had to go to my part-time job. I was a little tired because I had already gone out, but I tried my best at work. There were some busy moments, but I worked hard until the end. I want to save money because I have many things I want to do in the future. Today was a busy but enjoyable day. I hope I can have more days like this.

Today, I had a conversation with a Bible teacher. She and I talked about traveling in Scotland. However, her sister has a bad knee, so she cannot walk long distances. Sometimes, Chinese workers have to work on weekends to make up for public holidays. Many people dislike this arrangement because they are already tired after working five days a week. During holidays, I usually returned to my hometown because living in Beijing was expensive. Before the pandemic, I also volunteered in other countries. Some of my friends have asked me to teach them Chinese poetry, which I find very interesting. Now, when my friends ask me about them, I try to recall what I learned and explain the poems. I was good at Chinese at school, but I struggled with mathematics and English. Mathematics is important in the Chinese education system, and students' performance in different subjects can influence their university choices. We also discussed the parable of the rich man and Lazarus. My main reflection was that being rich is not necessarily wrong; what matters is how we obtain and use our wealth. We should also be willing to repent and turn to God.

Recently, I am instead in fashion. I like me who into fashion. Yesterday’s my fashion is maybe elegant. And today’s my fashion is casual, Japanese style, Gal💗 I like many kinds of fashion. I think fashion is very interesting because I can change my style every day. When I wear elegant clothes, I feel like a different person. When I wear casual clothes, I feel relaxed and happy. I also like Gal fashion because it is cute and cool! I didn’t want to stick to a style because I want to meet new me. I don’t want to decide my style now. I want to try many kinds of clothes and find what I like. Maybe tomorrow, I will wear a different style. I don’t know what kind of fashion I will like in the future. I think fashion is a way to express myself. Clothes can change my feelings and make me more confident. Also, I can enjoy fashion with my friends. I want to know more about fashion and try new things. I think there are many different versions of me. I want to meet them through fashion. I want to enjoy fashion freely and love myself more! 💗
