We will review a writing sample of yours or go over ways to prepare for writing on a topic. This will help with college applications, essays, IELTS or TOEFL writing, or general writing.

Writing Practice for IELTS/ Work/ Personal Use

For students who mostly want to study/perfect their American accent/pronunciation.

We will cover pronunciation topics that most pronunciation teachers do not cover, but that will completely change your approach to accents.

Within 5 classes, we can go over the majority of vowel and consonant sounds. After that, we can discuss intonation, linking, and informal speech structures.

Too busy for class? Want someone to check your writing? Send me an essay through skype or email and I'll make corrections for grammar, vocabulary, cohesion, logic, and style.

Choose a 30-minute class for anything under 400 words (for example, a task 1 and a task 2 for IELTS). Choose a 1 hour class for under 800 words.

Offline Editing

Choose this if you'd like to receive a week's worth of pronunciation classes in total for $10. This is part of our small group pronunciation program, Mission: English 

Classes are based on this schedule: Mondays -- 13:30 New York and 20:30 New York
Tuesdays -- 09:30 New York and 13:30 New York
Wednesdays -- 09:30 New York and 20:00 New York
Thursdays -- 13:30 New York (conversation class) and 20:00 New York
Fridays -- 09:30 New York and 13:30 New York

Mission: English is a subscription-based, private group.  You join the livestreams with me and other students, and together we do pronunciation exercises. The lessons are saved privately on Youtube and Facebook for you to access afterwards

By joining Mission: English, you also can watch all previous lessons to study and practice--meaning you already can watch 300+ pronunciation lessons.  

Please note that each class allows 4 students on screen maximum. However, all group members can watch the livestream.

Each class is 30 minutes; you will also receive a private link to watch the class again on Youtube.

Once your register, you will receive all links to the classes for 7 days.

Specifically, we will:

- Go over what your personal goals are for your English

- Discuss why you are studying English

- Create a study plan that you can use in the future

- Review study strategies and techniques for improving writing, vocabulary, pronunciation, grammar, or speaking--depending on your area of focus

- Answer any questions you have

30 minutes is generally plenty to cover these topics! The hour option is only to handle any questions we cannot cover and may end early if all questions are answered.

I administered the speaking and writing portions of the IELTS test for academic and general candidates.
