The trial lesson has two main goals: first, to help me understand your profile and language objectives. Second, I will give you an overview of my courses (conversation, structured and literature lessons).

I prepare articles, images, video clips, or audio files for my conversation lessons. The topics vary and are related to German culture and the student’s personal situation. During the lesson, I take notes on grammar and vocabulary. After the session, I send the student a Google Doc with the notes and corrections.

Conversation with Material & Feedback

I offer fully structured lessons based on my own materials, all worked through in a shared Google Doc during the lesson. We work on grammar, vocabulary, listening, reading comprehension, and writing.

Each lesson follows a clear structure with interactive exercises that you complete directly in the document. Exercises include gap-fill exercises, quizzes, pictures, and short video clips.
 
The lessons are organized into thematic modules with selected grammar topics. Examples of modules include everyday topics at B1 such as travel or housing, and more advanced themes at higher levels. At C1 level, modules can include cultural content, such as a Beethoven module, with grammar work like Konjunktiv II.

These lessons are ideal for learners who prefer a clear structure and prepared materials.

Please note that we work directly in Google Docs, so using a laptop is recommended.

This course is designed for advanced learners who want to improve reading comprehension and spoken expression through German literature. 

This course focuses on reading and speaking. There are no grammar or vocabulary exercises.

All materials are prepared by me and provided as nicely designed PDF documents. 

Each lesson includes an introduction to the author and historical context, a selected text passage, and discussion questions. You will read the text aloud and we will discuss the author, context, and content together.
