The trial lesson is for students who are new to the italki system.
In the trial lesson, I will assess your current Japanese skills, and then we will discuss your lesson plan.

For absolute beginner students, I will teach you Japanese greetings and expressions used in the lesson.

This course is for Beginner students. (based on the textbook "Minna no Nihongo 1or genki1")

We will start with Hiragana (Japanese characters), greetings and self-introduction. 
By the end of this course, you will be able to understand basic expressions that are frequently used in daily life. Also, you will be able to communicate in Japanese by using short and simple expressions.

In my lessons, you will learn new vocabulary, grammars and then we will do role-playing to improve your conversation skills! Complete beginners are welcome! Let's have fun with Manami!

Beginner Japanese (55 mins)

This course is for pre-intermediate students. (based on "Minna no Nihongo 2 or Genki 2")

You will learn how to ask for explanations, explain your own situation/ feelings and share information in Japanese. Also, you will learn how to use formal and casual styles properly depending on the situation. By the end of this course, you get enough skills to express your own opinions with details such as reasons and purposes. 

In this course, you will learn new vocabulary, grammars and then we will do role-playing to improve your conversation skills! If you know the basic grammars (N5 level), you can take this course.  Let's have fun with Manami!

Pre-Intermediate Japanese (55 mins)

FREE CONVERSATION COURSE：

This course is designed for students who want to practice speaking Japanese to improve their speaking skills. It is *only for intermediate and advanced level* students. However, if you are a beginner and really wish to take this course, please feel free to ask me.

In each lesson, we will decide on a topic beforehand, and both of us will prepare for it. (Possible topics include anime, manga, Japanese drama, music, news, travel, etc.) We will discuss the chosen topic, and I will correct any mistakes you make during our conversation. You will learn how to speak natural Japanese.

Free conversation (25/55 mins)

This course is for students who finished Intermediate course or has enough skills to start N2 level Japanese.

We will use textbooks such as みんなの日本語中級、中級を学ぼう、できる日本語上級、N2教材、ニュース記事etc...

Advanced Japanese (55 mins)

***The package is only available for students who take lessons more than twice a week. ***

This course is for students who finished the pre-intermediate Japanese course or has enough skill to start N3 level Japanese.  You will learn more about natural Japanese grammars and expressions. 

Like other courses, you will learn new vocabulary, grammar and then practice conversation. By the end of this course, you will be able to deal with most of the matters which might occur in daily life. Also, you will become able to talk fluently and naturally with Japanese people about diverse topics.

We will use intermediate level textbooks such as みんなの日本語中級、中級へ行こう、etc...) and other materials.

Intermediate Japanese (55 mins)

This course is intended for students who are planning to visit Japan for vacation.

The course consists of 8 sections:
1) Greetings, introductions, and locations
2) Shopping conversations
3) Restaurant conversations
4) Directions
5) Hotel, airport, and bank conversations
6) Questions
7) Troubles
8) Review

Depending on your pace, if you take 5 to 8 lessons (1 hour each), you can practice basic travel conversations.

You will learn important vocabulary, grammar, and useful phrases in each section. Additionally, I can assist you with planning your trip if needed.
