Conversation in English - fun and casual ✨ ☘️

In this course you will work on the four skills necessary for an effective communication in L2: speaking, listening comprehension, writing and reading. We use the Cervantes Institute syllabus to cover all the contents for A1 and A2 levels, focusing on the Latin American Spanish variant. Instead of just learning a set of rules, you will discover how to speak and understand the language in situations where you can communicate and express ideas.
We work with a student’s and a workbook, but I integrate original material such as fun exercises, minigames, videoclips, pdfs, short-texts, songs and conversational sequences for you to get enough practice in and outside our virtual classroom. 
I really don’t encourage memorization, and think the best way to learn a language is through immersion, but most importantly, through enjoying it and making the language part of your life, so I will also provide lots of materials so you can practice and self study if that's what you wish.  ¡Vamos a aprender juntos y pongamos el español en marcha!

Soy licenciada en Lengua y Literatura Inglesa, lo que me brinda amplia experiencia con el idioma inglés, así como con la cultura, literatura e historia de diferentes países angloparlantes.
Bachelor's degree with honors in English Language and Literature by the National Autonomous University of Mexico.

My passion for languages lead me to pursie a Master's degree in Asian Studies, focusing on Japanese Language and Literature, with a thesis on Takako Takahashi's short stories. Theses experience provided me with lots of practice hours studying and speaking Japanese, and was also a great opportunity to learn different techniques to teach foreigner languages, as I was taking Japanese lessons next to professional linguistis and researchers.

I've been teaching Spanish to foreigners, specially immigrants' kids and foreigners who have just arrived in Mexico, as well as exchange students attending mexican universities.
