You want to learn English and you are a complete beginner? No worries!

I’ve designed documents to study the very basics: alphabet, phonetics, pronunciation, greetings, basic vocabulary, simple sentences, etc. 

When you learn a new language, the basics are very important; that’s why we will go at your own pace to make sure you’ve understood everything before moving on. 

I am here to help you and I am extremely patient so don’t be shy :)

At A0 level, I usually send you the lesson we’ve worked on and your job is to assimilate it. Meanwhile, be curious. Surf the Internet. Listen, read, and learn between classes. 

Once you’re ready, we can move on to the A1 syllabus.


A1 and A2:

We will work on different language skills: speaking, listening, reading and writing -including grammar and pronunciation.
Working on grammar is necessary at this level but doesn't have to be boring, right? That's why I'll explain it in context, give you directions to work on it alone and review it with you regularly. 

How do we work? 
First 20 mins: chatting together (about your life, your weekend), reviewing what we did before, HW, etc. Then we start working on sth new!

The real aim of our class is to make you speak, right? :)

We will speak English as much as possible! You'll get to learn more about English-speaking countries, people, culture, customs, daily topics, useful vocabulary, etc. The book is divided into units -topics. With this book, you can practice daily conversations learning useful words and expressions. We also work on audios to train on listening comprehension. 
At the end of each unit, I will send you a test and you will grade yourself. 

What do I need? 
You don’t need to buy anything as I share my screen with you but you need to have a copybook to take notes. I will also create a Google Doc we'll use for each class.
At the end of each class, I give you homework. 

Personal work between classes is essential.

ENGLISH * Course for Beginners -A1 to A2

*Please note this is a full course. It's the equivalent of what you'll get from famous French institutes, in accordance with the CEFR levels. Except that I'm only here for you! This way you make better progress than with a group class, and it's also cheaper.*

B1 and B2:

We will work on all the different language skills: speaking, listening, reading and writing -including grammar and pronunciation.

How do we work? 
We usually spend the first 15 minutes chatting together + reviewing what we did, HW, etc. 

At this level, you're supposed to know basic grammar. We are thus able to get into more complex tenses and structures. We will work on it punctually. It doesn't have to be boring, right?

Besides, our first objective during the class is to make you speak! :)

We will speak French as much as possible! You'll get to learn more about France, French-speaking countries, people, culture, customs, daily topics, useful vocabulary, etc. The book is divided into units -topics. With this book, you can practice daily conversations by learning more complex and useful words and expressions while having fun. We also work on audios to train on listening comprehension. At the end of each unit, I will send you a test and you will grade yourself.

Informal Tutoring for Advanced students

This course will get you QUICKLY into the language!

If you're planning to go to France soon and want to be able to speak a bit during your trip, then it's the right course for you! 
If you wish to learn a bit of French, just for fun, then it's the right course for you as well!

However, if you wish to fully learn this language on a long-term basis, you need to book my other course named "General Classes".

Because it's an immersion course, the goal is to see each other a lot over one week to create that immersion feeling. That's why you have to make sure you can commit to 4 or 5 lessons a week. All lessons need to be taken the same week. If you don't show up then you'll lose the package. No rescheduling will be accepted. 

We can also do more than a week. For example, if you wish to create a 3 weeks immersion then you can book 3 packages; but each package needs to be used within a week.

Please contact me BEFORE booking anything because I need to know what your objectives are to prepare the course in advance for you, and we also need to find common time slots for every day of the week.
