We will take this time to introduce ourselves and know a little bit about each other. I will also mostly ask you about your preferences, experience with the language, goals what you would like to do with our time. It is okay whichever language level you are at, remember I can adjust to any :)

Estas clases están enfocadas a enriquecer tu vocabulario y tu fluidez, ya que a veces tienes la estructura gramatical pero la falta de éstos dos componentes hace deficiente la expresión e interacción oral. Cada clase se centra más que todo en hablar acerca de artículos, podcasts y videos de una gran variedad de temas de tu interés. Si quieres también mejorar tu expresión escrita, me encantaría sugerir y corregir tus escritos acerca de los temas trabajados en clase.
  
These classes are mainly focused on enriching your vocabulary and fluidity, sometimes you know the grammar structures, but lacking these two components make your oral expression and interaction somehow deficient. Each class centers mostly on talking about articles, podcasts and videos of a range of themes of your interest. If you also want to improve your writing, I would love to suggest and correct writing prompts about the topics discussed in class.

Fluency HABLEMOS ESPAÑOL! (Intermedio y Avanzado)

My classes will immerse you in the wonderful world of Spanish! They are suitable for level A2. At this level you already have a very basic understanding of:

Very basic personal, family and job-related language
Enough to meet the needs with slow, clear speech
Short, simple texts on familiar matter.  lessons are dedicated to improving Spanish skills (Speaking, reading, writing, listening), so you can learn everything step by step 

These classes are well-structured and based on your needs. I will provide you with a lot of materials: documents, videos, audios, texts, study cases, homework, etc. ✓ A lot of practice using the grammar/vocabulary learned through spontaneous conversation, activities, games and/or role-play.  Homework (requested) to take your Spanish to the next level!

Esto es una "Clase Proyecto" Como algunos de ustedes ya saben, desde hace mucho tiempo me ha fascinado la forma en que usamos el lenguaje y la intención al expresar nuestras ideas y percepciones del mundo.  Empecé a reescribir las letras como una forma de encontrar un punto en común con mi hijo, quien es músico.  Esta simple actividad abrió la puerta a la exploración de diferentes ritmos, estilos musicales y una manera de encontrar mi propia voz y hablar al nivel del alma.

Básicamente tomo canciones que tienen mensajes y/o ritmos hermosos, positivos y alentadores, en cualquier estilo musical y las hago aún mejores... Creo que es una forma divertida de aprender nuevo vocabulario, estructuras gramaticales y de aumentar tus niveles de energía disfrutando y/o cantando algo que se convierte en significativo y relevante en nuestra vida.

Si decides tomar esta lección:
+ Repasaremos diferentes estilos musicales y encontraremos una canción atractiva para ti, también eres bienvenido a proponer canciones. 
+ Revisaremos la letra de la canción y examinaremos el vocabulario, las estructuras gramaticales, el significado y las características culturales y rítmicas.
+ Si quieres ir más allá, reescribiremos/editaremos la letra.

Este proceso puede tomar una o varias lecciones dependiendo de su interés y nivel de idioma.

Dear students,

Over these years I've had the pleasure of supporting your process in learning Spanish. I have evidenced your growth and development of the necessary abilities to be succesful Spanish speakers. I also know life is in constant change....life is always happening. Some of you already reached the expected level, changed jobs, life styles, activities, priorities or even found a different approach to your studies. Whatever the case may be, every single one of you has a special place in my heart. 

I've also grown and progress through you and I really value every moment I spent with you. That's why I'm opening this space, let's catch up! I'd really love to hear back from you!

***Please notice this lesson is for former students and is an ocassional lesson; however, if you really want to take lessons with me and due to economical reasons are not able to pay full price, let me know and we'll agree.

A lo largo de estos años he tenido el placer de apoyar muchos de sus procesos en el aprendizaje del español. He evidenciado el crecimiento y desarrollo de las habilidades necesarias para ser hispanohablantes exitosos. También sé que la vida está en constante cambio....la vida siempre está sucediendo. Algunos de ustedes ya han alcanzado el nivel esperado, han cambiado de trabajo, de estilo de vida, de actividades, de prioridades o incluso han encontrado un enfoque diferente para sus estudios. Sea como sea, cada uno de ustedes ocupa un lugar especial en mi corazón. 

Yo también he crecido y progresado gracias a ustedes y realmente valoro cada momento que he pasado con todos y cada uno. Por eso abro este espacio, ¡vamos a ponernos al día! ¡Me encantaría saber de ti!
