During the trial lesson, I'll walk you through different methods I use to teach online class. For better learning experience, I recommend choosing Zoom as the communication tool. Look forward to seeing you in class.

For intermediate to advanced students:
In this lesson, I will guide you with series of questions to make you think and put those thoughts into words. I'll provide feedback to correct some common mistakes and make your words more diverse. For example, it's natural to use filler words like "Um", "Ah", even "So", but it's better to avoid being repetitive or redundant (except to stress a key point). We'll practice, practice, and practice. At times you may feel unnatural, like it's not your voice. However, slowly but surely, you'll become a better conversation partner, even an eloquent speaker. 

For beginners:
Don't worry if you can't find the words to express yourself. In the beginning, I'll avoid asking open-ended questions (5W+1H questions: who, what, when, where, why, how). Instead, I'll be asking more yes/no questions until you become comfortable. When you're ready, you can ask me questions! By the way, I do fluent speak Korean and Mandarin Chinese.

Vocabulary enhancement:
- Increase your vocabulary using mnemonics (synonyms, rhymes, and pictures.
- Systematically review the words using spaced repetition

Conversational English

Conversational class, suitable for those on the move. The class will be conducted using audio call.

Voice talk (discontinued)

Have you ever been asked a sudden question and find yourself out of words to express what you want to say? or perhaps your mind goes completely blank. 

Whether you're preparing for exams (IELTS | TOEFL) or facing a job interview, this class will train you to form a clear structure to any questions. Class can be divided into two phases: before class and during class.

Pre-class homework:
- After signing up for the class, students are given topic(s) to write about. Writing should be submitted to the teacher two days before taking the class (or at least one day in advance). 
- On the following day, the teacher will review, give feedback and suggestions.

In-class:
- During actual class time, student will have chance to practice responding to the questions. Afterwards, teacher will give feedbacks to undo any bad habits (i.e. frequent filler words like "um" "ah" ...) and provide new vocabularies that fits the speech.
- Note: In real exam or interview, we won't know the actual questions. After practices, the student will become more familiar to using structures to answer impromptu 即兴.
