Conversational English for adults

Editing of academic articles for publication. My areas of expertise include economics, human geography, politics and other areas of social science. I am a published author myself so have a good grasp of the technical terms required. Please note this is not a face-to-face lesson.

The Economist

I have an Honours degree in both Economics and Life Sciences. In a former life (a looooong time ago) I worked in investment banking and then switched to environmental work in Africa (I still run a travel business with tours to Kruger National Park in South Africa). In this class we will study a specific academic paper of your choice (or I can suggest one for you). Not only will we study the language, we will also discuss the content so you can have a deeper understanding of the research.
