Charlotte la marmotte
Charlotte est paresseuse et très lente. Pour son anniversaire, ses amis ont préparé un énorme gâteau, garni de dix bougies. Le soir venu, tout le monde se rassemble dans la clairière. La marmotte s'approche du gâteau…
Deux heures plus tard, elle n'a encore éteint que deux bougies! L'assemblée s'impatiente et les plus jeunes s'endorment déjà. Il est minuit quand Charlotte souffle la cinquième bougie. Monsieur Hibou est le seul à garder les yeux ouverts…

清明节是中国的传统节日，通常在四月。这时候，天气不冷也不热，到处都是春天的样子，草绿了，花开了，好看极了。​
清明节有一个重要的习俗，就是扫墓。很多人会在这天去墓地，墓地是去世的人 “住” 的地方。人们带着鲜花来到墓地，把墓地打扫得干干净净，再献上鲜花，表达对去世亲人的想念。​
除了扫墓，清明节还适合踏青。人们会和家人、朋友一起去公园或者郊外。在公园里，能看到五颜六色的花，还能听到小鸟唱歌。在郊外，空气特别新鲜，风轻轻吹在脸上，舒服极了。大家一边走，一边看风景，心情也变得更好。​
清明节还有好吃的食物，比如青团。青团是用绿色的菜和糯米做的，又软又甜，味道很棒。很多人在清明节会吃青团。​
在中国，有一首和清明节有关的诗，是唐代诗人杜牧写的。诗是这样的：​
清明时节雨纷纷，​
路上行人欲断魂。​
借问酒家何处有？​
牧童遥指杏花村。​
这首诗说的是，清明节的时候下雨了，路上的人心情不太好。有人问哪里有酒店，放牛的小孩指着远处的杏花村。​
清明节既有对去世亲人的思念，又有对春天的喜爱。希望通过今天的节目，大家对清明节有更多的认识。感谢收听，咱们下次再见！

“Concentrating, especially when i need to really hit the books, or work on an assignment with a deadline is something I can say I’ve honestly had a big problem with over the years,mainly because of the distractions caused by my mobile phone. I often racked my brains on how to best deal with the problem as it was really interfering with my studies.  However, one of my classmates who also had a similar problem recently recommended an app to me, which he absolutely swears by, and told me how it has helped him so much.

The app in question is called Forest, and the main idea, as well as setting it up is as easy as pie. You open the app, and say you want to plant a tree,and then you put the phone down. If you lift your phone or open another app after this your tree will die. However if you can last 25 minutes, your tree will live, and you can then aim to build a whole forest.




As simple as this app is, I have found it to be a massive help in improving my concentration, as well keeping me from being distracted by my mobile. It has definitely made me become more productive in my studies, and I now get my assignments finished on time, without having to stay up all night burning the midnight oil. This very simple app has really been a godsend and I would have no hesitation in recommending it to anyone who finds their mobile a distraction.

Episode #64 - Become a different person

This is an American science fiction movie about three astronauts who are on a mission to Mars. When they find a stowaway on board, the crew must figure out a solution, since they only have enough oxygen for three people.

Vocabulary:
space shuttle: a space vehicle 
stowaway: a person on board a ship who wasn't supposed to be there
lifeguard: a person who works at a pool or beach to protect people from drowning
oxygen: the element we use for breathing
ethical or moral dilemma: a problem in which it's not clear what decision is right or wrong
unconscious: not awake
concussion: injury caused by being hit on the head
