Present Habitual Tense
Description
This tense indicates frequent, regular, or habitual actions in the present.
Rule
Remove "na" from the root verb and add "ta", "te" or "ti" as per the number and gender of the subject.
Verb - khana
Ram khaTA hai राम खाता है - masculine singular
Sita khaTI hai - सीता खाती है - feminine singular
Hum khaTE hein - हम खाते हैं - masculine plural
Sita and Mina eat - सीता और मीना खाती हैं - feminine plural
