My Chinese friend Han and I finally had the chance to sit down for a conversation. He had asked to be on my podcast to share his experience as my student, but with our busy schedules and limited time outside of class, we kept putting it off or rescheduling for the past six months. 3月21日に日本でもようやくコロナに関する規制がほとんどなくなりました。
しかし、東京都は都内の６つの公園でお花見をすることを禁止するそうです。
東京都は花見を禁止する理由はマスクをしないで集まって食事をしたり、花見で人がたくさん集まったりすると、コロナになる人が増える可能性があるためと言っています。

「ニュースについてのコメント」
日本人はとても心配性なので、みんながマスクを外してコロナの前の生活に戻るのはまだ先になりそうですね。

え、今年もお花見できないの？

こんばんは、atsushiです。
今回も和食の文化について話をします。

日本には四季があります。
春、夏、秋、冬。
季節ごとに気温や気候が違うように、旬の食べ物も変わります。

今回は季節ごとの旬な食べ物の話をします。

まずは春からです。
僕は春といえば、たけのこを思い出します。
かといって、家でたくさん食べていたわけでは無いんですが、たけのこのイメージがあります。

他には貝類だとアサリですね、魚だと鯛とかニシンですらね。山菜だとあんまり食べないんですけど、ふきのとうとかですかね。あとは菜の花とかイチゴとかですね。

次は夏です。
夏といえば、僕はそうめんですね。実家にいた時によくそうめんを食べてました。一般的には、魚だとあじとかアナゴとかですね。カツオなどもます。野菜は枝豆、きゅうり、茄子とかですかね。果物だとやっぱりスイカですかね。日本の夏の果物はスイカってイメージは結構ありますね。

秋ですね。秋は食材が豊富になる時期なので、日本では良く、食欲の秋とか言いますね。
僕は秋といえば、梨とかさんまですね。鮭もそうですね。
一般的には、蓮根とか椎茸、しめじ、果物が多いですねぇ。栗とか柿とかぶどうですね。サツマイモとかもそうです。

最後に冬です。
冬は食材と言うよりも、なべのイメージがありますけど、かぼちゃとかですかね。
一般的には貝類の牡蠣とか魚だとタラとかふぐとかカニですね。野菜がと、大根とか白菜とかネギとかですかね。

今回は食材の話ばっかりしたんですけど、
もちろん旬の料理もありますので、その話はまた今度にしようと思います。
