〜だけど、違う結果になったことを言う時に使います。
例文いきます！

・たくさん寝たのに、まだ眠いです。

・勉強したのに、テストに合格しませんでした。

・彼はかっこよくないのに、なぜかモテます。

・走っているのにやせません。

・時間があったのに、何もしなかった。


こんな感じです。
のに、の後は少し不満な気持ちを表現することが多いです。
のにの使い方は、これ以外にもあります。
それはまた今度やります。
