Hello everyone 😆 ☀️We Japanese people sometimes don’t know how to express our opinions clearly. We often talk about others in a roundabout way and this is because Japanese people may feel being blamed by others when opinions are expressed directly. ☀️For
example, when you have a friend who is not studying well. How do you tell your friend directly? Actually I don't want to tell him directly, but I try to tell him how he can improve his grades. However it’s difficult to tell my opinion to in this way. This is a difficult problem to solve. ☀️Japanese people have two emotions which are “private opinion” and “public stance” . We don't talk clearly because we don't want to fight. ☀️Our feelings are sometimes different what we actually think. This is what makes Japanese relationships so complicated. That’s why I might frankly tell him that he must study hard even if he hates me (in the end).
