One of the practical ways to stay on a healthy mentality is by sticking to a decent routine and keep yourself busy, this way will not give you even the time to get infected by any mental disorders.
Another principle, I think the most effective way to keep a high productive mentality is by believing in fate due that nothing can affect your mental health, for instance, no stress of upcoming results any kind of tests, no depressing of any circumstances because you have faith on the fate.
In a nutshell, mental disorders are a kind of disease and it's normal to experience them in your life but the point is curing them is more way tough than avoiding them, so I advise you to protect yourself don't neglect your health.
