" Rabbits can dig deep holes in the ground." is the correct answer . Deep is the adjective we use when describing something that extends downwards , we would use long if the rabbit was digging from one end to another.
Hope this helps :)

Hi Mohammed,
We don't describe holes as 'long' but rather 'deep'. So the correct sentence would be "rabbits can dig deep holes in the ground."
Hope that helps!

Almost correct!
Rabbits can dig long (/tunnels/) under the ground. They can dig large holes (/into/) the ground.
The underground holes are tunnels, and using the special name helps get the point across more quickly with native speakers!
With non-native speakers who don't know the word tunnels, saying long holes may still cause a confusion.
It may be easier to teach them the word tunnel is a hole inside of something solid!

The specific word for the tunnels rabbits dig to live in is “warren”, not to be confused with the man’s name “Warren”.

Better stated as: the rabbit digs deep holes.
The term long in English is used when describing distance along the ground, such as "a long highway" or a "long river." The term deep describes the length of something which expects below ground level, for example if a well is dug and it needed to be 200 ft long, the best description would be that the well is 200 ft deep.
The opposite is true when describing the length of something above ground. For example a tree that is quite tall would be described as being 80 ft high instead 80 ft long.
