This picture was taken during my graduation trip several years ago. I went to a remote rural area located in Southwest Yunnan province with my roommates. It's a peaceful and wonderful place which only owns dozens of families and people barely knew it at that time(But not anymore now, it became kind of famous somehow). There is a big lake inside the area which is called Lugu Lake, we rent a car and planned to drive around it. There're some temples in hidden place on our way. When we drove to a mountain , we decided to climb it and wondered if we could find something new . What really surprised us is the landscape from the top, we found the Lugu lake shaped like a heart. We spent few unforgettable days there. I could still feeling the breeze, the blue sky, the clear starts at quiet nights. We were singing, dancing and. laughing like we were new in the world.

Very good. Sounds great! I have never been to 云南, but I know it is a wonderful place.
In this type of story it is sometimes difficult to decide between using 'is' for things that are still true, and 'was' for things you did at that time.
