Most challenging in learning English for me is to use all words, rules and idioms. Become an active user for all knowledge that I had learned. In stressful situation (and speaking is still stressful situation for me) I tend to use basic language instead of most complicated tenses and new idioms. It’s a complete disaster for learning English motivation in fact. When you can’t see the results it’s so disappointing. And almost every time I’m thinking I’m not enough. Even though I learn something everyday. I’m really into it and try to do some exercises and activities. I come up with an idea it could be happened because of lack a big idea. You know my studying exists by itself with no real goal. I just want to have a B2 level that’s it. Watching a tv series and stand-up shows without translation. So today I have an insight! I have to have a big goal and deadline for it. I made up to pass the exam IELTS or TOEFL. Didn’t decide it yet. And I’ll have passed it by next summer! I need a learning plan for this year I think! How do you like this idea? Or maybe you know how to be proactive with al this language learning and to see more results.

Most challenging thing in learning English for me is learning/trying to use all the words, rules and idioms. Becoming an active user for all knowledge that I have learned. In a stressful situation (and speaking is still a stressful situation for me) I tend to use basic language instead of more complicated tenses and new idioms. In fact, it's a complete disaster for my motivation to learn English. When you can’t see the results it’s so disappointing. And almost every time I think I’m not enough. Even though I learn something everyday. I’m really into it and try to do some exercises and activities. I thought that maybe this is because I don't have a bigger idea/plan. You know, my studying exists by itself with no real goal. I just want to have a B2 level that’s it. Watching a tv series and stand-up shows without translation. So today I had a sudden insight! I have to have a big goal and a deadline for it. I made up my mind to pass the IELTS or TOEFL exam. Didn’t decide which one yet. And I’ll have a deadline to pass it by next summer! I need a learning plan for this year I think! How do you like this idea? Or maybe you know how to be proactive with all this language learning and to see more results. I can really relate to your frustrations! When you don't have a lot of chances to practice verbal conversations, it can be hard to incorporate new words, phrases, and grammar. I think your idea of trying to pass a specific exam is a really great strategy! I really like using italki for this kind of learning. For a long time, I tried to teach myself, and so my progress was very slow. But when I started using italki, I found teachers who could help me find specific goals, and help me follow a textbook or other curriculum! It's a great idea to have a goal to work towards, if you just try to "get better" then you're right, it's very hard to see results. But this is a great idea! And a deadline will help you stay focused too. This was really well written! Keep going!!
