Why am I learning English?
Speaking fluent English is my childhood dream. I still remembered when I am in Grade 5 in primary school, my sister taught me a word: girl. I felt that its pronunciation is very nice. I want to learn English. Time flies. When I went to high school, I study English. My teacher taught me word and grammar, I speak English very little. So I didn’t think that English I learned is useful. And I have a heavy homework so English for me is the examination. When I graduated from university, I have enough time to learn English and I did some training to speak English, but I am shy and worried about to speak wrong, so my oral English is not good until now. I still never give up learning English.

Why am I learning English? Speaking fluent English was my childhood dream. I
still remember when I was in fifth grade, and my sister taught me my first word: girl. I thought that the way it was pronunced was very nice, so I wanted to learn English.Time flew by. When I went to high school, I studied English. My teacher taught me vocabulary and grammar, I spoke very little English, so I didn’t think that English I
learned was useful. And I had a lot of homework, so English for me was a chore. When I graduated from university, I had enough time to learn
English, and I had some training in speaking English. However, I am shy and worried about making mistakes, so my speaking was not good until now. Still, I will never give up learning English.
I'm sorry I don't know how to format the correction nicely. There are some mistakes with past and present tense, but your English is already very good and understandable! Hang in there :) I feel the same way about learning new languages. 我們一起努力學習新語言吧!
