i watched a film called Demon Cat last week, which was recommended by my friends, and pictured by a Chinese director. It tells about a legend which occurred in Tang dynasty in ancient China. The story is about the poignant love between the emperor Xuanji Li and his imperial concubine Yang. To be honest, I was fascinated about the magnificent pictures and excited melody. I have to say that the story may be a little about ordinary, but the beat of the whole film is very appropriate.

•I changed "pictures" to "imagery". If you were referring to pictures in the movie, and not visuals in general, disregard the edit.
•I don't think "excited" is improper usage, but it was a bit unexpected to see and possibly vague. Maybe one of these words gets your point across more clearly:
-energetic (having lots of energy, so this might mean that the music is fast)
-upbeat (cheerful)
-exciting (causing excitement)
•"about ordinary" is confusing. I am not sure what you mean. If you mean:
-that it is too ordinary, you could say:
—clichèd
—typical (following what often happens)
—predictable (easily can be predicted, therefore it can be boring)
-that it is not ordinary, and that it is strange, you could say:
—out-of-the-ordinary (not usually happening)
—unorthodox
—quirky (unique or special because it isn't ordinary)
