Let's give an example:
- It's cold!
さむい!
- There's a chill in the air.
はだざむいです。
- It's nippy wearher.
こおりつくようなさむさです。
- It's freezing!
いてつくようなさむさです!
- My hands have gone numb.
さむくて手がかじかんでしまった。
- It's so cold that I've got goosebumps.
さむくてとりはだがたった!
There was a bit chill in the air this morning that I woke up sooner than I used to!
けさは、くうきがひんやりしていてはだざむかったので、いつもより少し早くおきてしまいました!
