I have been studying English since I was a child.
When I was at school, I even took 3d place in English competition. I wanted to enter the university and study internetional relationship, but my plan was changed. I entered the psychological faculty and gave up studying English for the next years. When I was 25 years old I decided to continue my practice again. And last 6 year I have been trying to improve my English. I'm going to share some thoughts about obstacles in learning English.
First of all, If you are working, you are always interrupted by solving a lot of problems, issues, which grab your attention. As a result, you progress stops or dicreases.
Next problem is your surroundings. If you live in Russia, and listen Russian speach everywhere, It's difficult to perceive a foreign language when you hear it.
And the last point is the lack of practice. Even you have a tutor or you visit some speaking club, few hours in a day connot be enough. In addition, I noticed the you and your teacher get used to communicate and understand each other. It seems to be easy till you begin to have real speaking practice with different foreigners.
I will be glad to get your feedback and know your opinion.
