If I want to prepare for/ to the exam Ielts and I will( am going to) pass it in the next year from now, how can I say “ I have plenty of time, it left one more year? “

I still have a year (to take the exam)

You can say:
“I have plenty of time; I still have one more year.”
Also, remember to say “prepare for the IELTS exam” (not “to”). Keep up the great work! ☺️
