Written Exercise 44 - We Should Avoid Staying Up Late! For various reasons, people frequently
stay up late into the night. It is reported that chronically staying up late
influences our health and can even endanger our lives. As we know, the
liver is one of our most important organs, which has the function of metabolic
detoxification. If we chronically (keep chronically shouldn’t be said, it’s redundant) stay up late, our liver will become
damaged. If our liver is damaged once, it can not be recuperated (or... Once our liver is damaged once, the damage is permanent.). If our
liver can not be reverted, we would die. Although we may know the truth well, we
do not do as the health advice says (we usually avoid saying “do not do”. An alternative would be... “Although we may know the truth well, we often do not obey health advice.”).
