Is it natural to say the following?
Thank you everyone for thinking of me on my birthday and buying me this present.

Yes, it's a natural expression. You could also say "getting me this present." "Buying" is fine too, but it could sound slightly more transactional, whereas "getting" skips over the buying/money aspect.
