Practice Day 4/100
Recently, I read a book called Rules of Civility, written by Amor Towles. While I was reading, I got an inspiring quote. “Be careful when choosing what you're proud of, because the world has every intention of using it against you.” If making a huge amount of money made me proud, I might not put emphasis on the health issue. Similarly, if putting too much focus on the past, I might miss some important ongoing things. I should check what occupied my whole energy carefully, or I might be controlled by it without awareness.
(I want to bring my writing skills to next level. Please feel free to edit or make any changes you deem necessary. Thanks! 🙏 )

I might miss things I should concentrate on in the present. I need to check carefully what is taking up all my energy, or I might be controlled by it without realising. (I

Well done. These are mostly style changes.

Practice Day 4/100 Recently, I read a book called 'Rules of Civility', written(you can simply do away with it) by
Amor Towles. I found an inspiring quote there, “Be careful when
choosing what you're proud of, because the world has every intention of using it
against you.” If making a lot of money made me proud, I might miss or be ignorant on the health issue. Similarly, by putting too much focus on the past, there's a good chance for me to miss on important ongoing things.
I should check carefully what occupied my
whole energy else get controlled by it being unaware.
Precision is the key, I'm not an expert though, but rather streching the sentences with words or phrases which could've simply avoided will do a great deal.
While I was reading - while is to refer to an unlinked or separate set of events but you found the quote in the same course of event.
Exm - A meteor fell on my head while I's reading. 🖖😸
