Manage Your English Studies Over The Festive Holidays A few of us manage to do all the studying that we wish we could, over Christmas - there’s just too much going on. For instance; travelling, visiting friends / families and joyful celebrations. However, once Christmas is over and done, there’s the celebrations for New Year’s Eve, which can be nearly as time-consuming. In this article, we take a look at how you can plan your time and your studying to make the most of your Christmas break – so that you can catch up on your workload and have some festive fun as well. 1. Always set a particular time for studying every day (and let your family know about it). The best way to get around this is to pick a particular time of day to study, and to make sure your family knows about it. It is advisable to pick a time somewhere in the morning, so that you have the rest of the day free. While it can be hard to motivate yourself to study first thing in the morning, it’s even harder to do so later in the day. 2. Hold yourself accountable. Remind yourself of your personal study goals and try to at least squeeze in 1-2 hours of study during this period. It is better to dedicate at least an hour everyday during the festive season rather than not ACTUALLY studying. These are the main tips to follow in order to avoid neglecting your language goals. What other tips do you have in mind, that where not shared in this article?
