I usually don’t like to use social networks to stay in contact with people. I have always thought that is unreal and you are not truly in connection with the other one. In this period I’m slightly changing my mind: because of my studies and my work, I have been away for long periods, and because I want to live in the moment, I didn’t have time to share my experiences with my friends far away and vice versa. Now with the social networks I can know about some events and I have the occasion to talk and show my interest to them easily. I’m a shy person generally and I’m active on social networks just with my friends.
The social networks can give a lot of topics and tips of conversation.
I’m not going to talk about all the bad things about social networks. I will attend the next topic for that.

Good! Minor mistakes - be aware of using 'and' this was over used. Rather start a new sentence if need be.
