My major is traditional Chinese medicine. I studied in a Chinese university for 8 years. I just finished my master's degree in July this year, and I will go to Australia for my doctoral study next year. I like my major very much, but this will be my first time to go abroad, I am very nervous, I think my spoken English is not good enough to communicate freely with foreigners, so I have been studying on Italk recently.

If your spoken English is as good as your writing you will have no problem! I was interested in your paragraph as I have found Chinese medicine very helpful (I prefer herbs). Best wishes with your studies. I teach academic English if you need help in the future.
Best wishes,
Richard

Choosing Australia may be your worst choice.
