1. I thought that I would be okay. But I'm crying. 2. I thought that I would be alright. But, I'm crying. Do both sound natural? Is there any difference between [okay] and [alright]? Thanks a lot in advance!!!

Both sounds fine and have effectively the same meaning in this context.
