*tu fais quoi maman ? - What are you doing, mom?//Что ты делаешь, мама?
*je réfléchis - I'm thinking//Я думаю.
*tu réfléchis à quoi ? - What are you thinking about?//О чем ты думаешь ?
*je réfléchis à ma vie - I'm thinking about my life//Я думаю о своей жизни.
*et moi, je réfléchis aux bonbons - and I’m thinking about the candies//а я думаю о конфетах
*que tu as cachés dans la cuisine - that you hid in the kitchen//которые ты спрятала на кухне
*je peux en avoir un ? -can I have one?//можно мне одну?
📍 grammaire:
*quoi - the informal way of “que”
*à quoi - with a preposition we can’t use “que” only “quoi”
*réfléchir (à qqch, qqn) - 2nd group verb: je réfléchis - nous réfléchissons - ils réfléchissent. Always used with the preposition “à”
*je peux en avoir un - “en” replaces previously used “bonbons”. In French, it’s not enough to say how much/many of smth you want, you also need to specify what exactly you are talking about. Hence the use of “en” to specify that you are talking about candies.
