Common confusing Russian phrases: «Руки не доходят» (literally: Hands don’t come). No exact equivalent in English. But you can hear it when a person have something important task to do, he/she is not motivated enough to do that staff and has been postponing it for a long time. It can’t be translated in English as “I don’t have much time (to do smth)” / “I’m shortage of time”

“I’m short on time.” Sometimes I say, “I’m stretched too thin.”
